"be you riding the tide on a dance floor
be you roaming through an empty ice cream aisle
be you craving the human companionship
or bathing in your own creation
there is always a few fleeting seconds
of the forgotten hour in between past and future
when you push the world aside
click your heels, and
descend yourself a secret dance party"

Allie Cuozzo, Oakland
"Between 01:00-02:00, I am almost always at home, near our stovetop where pots of beans & feminine energy are abundant. These are the hours of the day that make me feel the most awake, the most free. It's like a pre-dawn sorbet sofa, a physical place where my soul sinks into an unfiltered, totally nurtured creativity. Focused & calm, these sixty minz are an ancient, revivable ritual that I barely am beginning to know."
02:00 - 03:00
Albert Gentry, Brooklyn
"This mix is ode to Trap Summer-- with a little bit of deep house and disco mixed in for good measure."
03:00 - 04:00
Dominic Blackwell-Cooper, New York City
"This HOUR is dedicated to quality vices, surreal conversations with friends and the women who put up with my shit. Either on my computer, watching Morning Joe, or waiting for an uber. Then again, sometimes the fun has just begun."

"At 4:00 am on any given night, people are really only dreaming, whether these are the kind of waking dreams you play out on a dance floor late into night, or the dreams your mind creates in the comfort of your bed. These moments can be intense and disquieting, feverish dreams, or your circadian rhythms may blissfully take you to far off lands.
I wanted to explore the concept of the "in between," vacillating between tranquil and fierce, lucid and muddled. I've also repeated tracks by single artists as an exploration between their individual dreams; each track produced is an expression or manifestation of an artist's dream, so I explored the space between two different sonic dreams by Bicep and Einmusik."

"Warm golden rays penetrating windows dusted with cool morning dew. A nearby redwood abustle with blue birds eager to greet dawn. You’re awake before your alarm goes off but you feel rested. Alert. Awake. Alive. Droplets of condensation vaporize. You move observantly to greet opening poppies. Quiet feet meet nutritious soil in a ritual greeting of mother and child. Verdant shoots of magenta, cream, and lilac signal brilliantly. Quivering branches stirred by atmospherical restlessness picks up the smell of fertility. Now is your time to blossom. Soak up creativity, breathe in potential, lay down intention, exhale inspiration. Make each small step, a giant leap. Give thanks to the great cycle of life which in some miraculous way has pumped love into your heart, and magic in your soul. Great mother bursts with life. Pachamama whispers, “spring”…"

"lim·i·nal (adjective)
1. of or relating to a transitional or initial stage of a process.
2. occupying a position at, or on both sides of, a boundary or threshold.
07:00-08:00 is often the first waking hour of my day, a transition from the dream world to the day. From clouds to sky, moon to sunshine. From haze to focus. From restfulness to motion. Yet in that first hour, it's not a clean transition. I float from one side back to the other, trying each mood on for size. Snoozing. Breakfast. Exercise. Meditating. Reading. Gradually, the momentum builds and pushes towards a bright, full day."
08:00 - 09:00
Jack Heart, San Francisco
"Every morning is an opportunity to meet reality with wide open eyes."
09:00 - 10:00
Ben Gleitzman, New York City
"Welcome to Disneyland, USA. To all who come to this happy place: welcome. Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past, and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams and the hard facts which have created America, with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world."

Matt Boynton, Brooklyn
"Jazzy vibes for your morning brew session."
11:00 - 12:00
Nirav Savjani, London
"It’s difficult to describe what I like about music but a vivid memory of a place is the first thing I store away when I hear any new sounds. One of the major changes I made in 2015 was to move from San Francisco to London. I’ve now been living in London for the the better part of a year (time flies). With this mix, I wanted to showcase some of the tracks that I’ve been enjoying during the downtime of the London Winter— which is lengthy and different from what I have ever experienced before. This a mix for those lazy morning days where you want things to move a little more slowly."
12:00 - 13:00
Matt Pakes, San Francisco
"For many, the midday hour is a brief respite, after the early morning rush, ahead of the afternoon bustle. For some, it's a lazy start to the day. Others might take this hour to cut out of work early and get their weekend started. This is a soundtrack for any of these scenarios. A warm, sexy, mostly downtempo vibe, crossing genres from garage to funk, house to hip-hop. It closes with a lush, bouncy beat to propel you through your day."
13:00 - 14:00
Ian McCrystal, San Francisco
"Coma. Coffee. Crash. Cool."
13:00 - 14:00
Arbie Mosley, San Francisco
"I made some big moves, some big decisions, and all of it revolved around loving myself a bit more than yesterday. I wanted to assemble a moody, funky and uplifting playlist embodying the empowering ethos of The Bay - one that could work as a lovely early afternoon pick-me-up, whether or not you're in front of a monitor or outside aimlessly exploring your city's charm."
14:00 - 15:00
Trip Vest, San Francisco
"That time of day when I shut down the robot controlling my soul.
Precision movement without space for me.
This is my exploration of sounds that activate the real me that the working me buries deep throughout the day. Sounds that can reach deep enough, grab with an iron fist, and puuuuuuuull me back out.
For some reason when I think of swag, I imagine someone who is completely in tune with their inner rhythm. A kind of unquestionable authenticity and synchronization."
17:00 - 18:00
Royce Bable, Atlanta
"It's time to go home. The windshield, or that person directly across from you, stares back. Take off your blazer and undo your bun. You're ready to be taken away from the day. Whisked onto your couch for a glass of wine or across town for drinks-- doesn't matter. You've escaped. Forget that your on four wheels and ride on the vocals. Fall in love with the commute because it's not where you go but how you feel going."
18:00 - 19:00
Slo-MO (Mohsin Salahuddin), New York City
"Sayonara Nikkō or See you later, Sunshine!

"Transition from day to night. something's simmering on the stove, beers and good vibes abound. you start to release the day and shift towards something more free."
20:00 - 21:00
Ysiad Ferrarias, San Francisco
"It's 8pm. I have no plans. My friend just showed up on my front stoop, unannounced, with a bottle of champagne. We spend the next hour in the kitchen, listening to music, talking about the day, eventually culminating in a dance party next to the fridge."
21:00 - 22:00
Drempt (Lauren Nguyen), Tokyo
"21:00-22:00 is a transitional hour. You could be doing anything - settling down with a book, getting ready for the night ahead, hard at work. I wanted to explore the possibilities that lie within an hour whose definition is mutable. Left turns abound."
22:00 - 23:00
Josh Goldbard, San Francisco
"At 10pm heading into night time it's a quiet world getting more and more dancey as we move from loungey to dance o'clock. Lots of bounce, a little wiggle, and a ton of fun, this mix should be enjoyed with friends gearing up for a late night."
23:00 - 24:00
Mittensmochi (Nikolay Valtchanov & X), New York City
"Energy-wise, the 23rd hour for us these days is about picking up your crew from the post-dinner slump and injecting some energy as you all leave home for XYZ Brooklyn warehouse. And in terms of emotionality, we went with a brighter, more upbeat set that reflects our more general mood as winter slowly, but surely gives way to spring."
