00:00 - 01:00
Albert Gentry, Brooklyn

"This mix is meant to be played between the hours of 00:00 and 1:00. It was inspired by cities like New York, Buenos Aires, and Berlin. The mood is sexy and meant to encourage slight shoulder rolls while you're getting dressed, having pre-drinks, or indulging in Alejandro with friends."

01:00 - 02:00
dot (Nada Rastad), San Francisco

"The 1:00 - 2:00 am hour at the club always feels like the Hunger Games to me. It's almost always the height of the chaos of the night, when the dance floor is too packed and people are sweating. The crowd is either too drunk, in that sweet spot between either calling it a night and going home happy or just sailing into the after hours.

I hope this music makes you want to stay and dance. I hope this mix feels like we are cruising with the highs and lows of that crazy hour; groovin with some disco, scaring the drunks with some pretty melodies before getting hyped, and then taking it deep as we float into the night."

02:00 - 03:00
Win Mixter, San Francisco

"2-3 am is when it's time to get weird. this is a mix of crowd-pleasers and songs that always get me moving when it's time to start making bad decisions and challenging everyone in proximity to a dance battle."

04:00 - 05:00
Arbie Mosley, New York City

"This is quite the impulsive hour. Should one prepare for a trek home in headphones or decide to make it a toe-tapping sunrise type of morning. Sonically, I wanted the mood of this playlist to be reflective of my late night/early morning journeys, ones that typically leave me vibing into the wee hours...either in a house or in a dark corner of a dance floor."

05:00 - 06:00
Charleton Lamb, New York City

"For me 5am to 6am is about finding the power to keep going until sunrise. You've already decided to blow off your bunch plans so why stop now. There's other people in the room, but you're dancing alone. Towards the end of the hour you find something to help keep you going, and right at 6 you lock eyes with the bae and go off."

06:00 - 07:00
Kelsey Aroian, San Francisco

"This is often an hour that owns the sun rise, thus 06:00 - 7:00 is an hour of movement, transition and COLOR. If you let it, light will someday split you open."

08:00 - 9:00
Dominic Blackwell-Cooper, New York City

"8am is an interesting time of day because I keepI keep odd hours, but this assortment of music represents my mornings, no matter what happened the night before. I work as a writer/director and creative director at a media design company, so most of my mornings start at 6am, which means by the time 8am rolls around, I've been up for awhile. I listen to jazz in my headphones when I get to set, or the coffee shop to read and grab a bite to eat. I like to hear sounds but still be able to stay involved in conversations or not be distracted while I'm reading. If I'm on set, jazz allows me to focus and if I'm still at home, the jazz helps me rep for the day.

John Coltrane's, "A Love Supreme", is hands down my favorite jazz record, and what I start most of my days listening to. Chet Baker and Charlie parker pick up the tempo and keep my energy up while I'm out and about, or if I'm at the house, then Chet's trumpet or Charlie's wild sax get me motivated to get out in the world!

If I could listen to one artist and one artist only and one artist only for the rest of my life, it would most definitely be PRINCE, he's my spirit animal... seriously. No matter what time of day, Prince opens up my creativity, and in keeping with that androgynous rock, pop, sound, "Oh Sheila", gets me moving and keeps my energy up. If my friends hand me the AUX cord at any time of the day, I'm liable to put on "Oh Sheila", regardless of my company or setting.

Lastly, Kanye. Won't lie, Kanye anything in the morning gets my confidence to where it needs to be. Going into 9am, my day has officially started and Kanye's sounds ensure that the day is going to be a great one!"

09:00 - 10:00
Nirav Savjani, London

"Imagine the arrival of a slightly wet yet sunny early spring day."

10:00 - 11:00
Matt Boynton, Brooklyn

"You are fully functioning."

11:00 - 12:00
Michelle Cutler, San Francisco

"This is a playlist that represents the hour at which I would drift in and out of sleep on a Sunday morning after having stayed up all night with good friends to see the ocean and the sunrise, and passing out briefly. My mind is full of hazy, sleep-deprived memories of the weirdness and love from the night before, mixed with dreams from this 3 hour nap and does not really know which is which. I am probably in a cuddle puddle in a room with a lot of windows and still surrounded by friends, which I think is where a listening party for this hour should also take place. Also, at some point towards the end, it gets very lively because I've realized that someone got up early to make us all waffles. And then I fall asleep again."

12:00 - 13:00
Montrey Whittaker, San Francisco

"This mix is for that weekend midday time when your brain is still composing itself from the previous nights drinking and debauchery. This is around the time you get your "first wind" for another day of partying where the soundtrack peaks with dance-y beats followed by valleys that allow you moments of rest."

13:00 - 14:00
Cliff Chang, San Francisco

"Maybe the cute bartender you were flirting with put a little something extra in that bloody mary at brunch -- maybe you're finally rolling out of bed after a big night -- maybe your morning coffee has just worn off...

Either way, all you wanna do is purr in the sunshine. These jazzy grooves will keep your feline tail waving back and forth as you prowl your domain."

15:00 - 16:00
Josh Constine, San Francisco

"The lazy sun slips towards the horizon's comfy hammock. The golden afternoon beams nuzzle your face, and it's almost too beautiful to nap. You gently sway in the soft breeze. The wisps of clouds dance by. And in this moment, you brim with charged tranquility."

16:00 - 17:00
Jack Lion Heart, San Francisco

"This mix tells a story of afternoons on the water with nothing but waves, horizon, and a connection to all fellow creatures of the sea.

We start out submerged and slowly build our energy, carried by an ever stronger tide. We dive below the surface and jump for air, playing as a dolphin would. Halfway through our journey, we meet a divine ocean goddess and celebrate her energy. All experiences are temporary; as an ecstatic moment fades, a sense of loss lingers in its absence. But that loss shows the way to freedom. Fulfilled and blessed, we return home to the beach and fall down to the earth to lie in the glory of the sun in its final hours of warmth."

17:00 - 18:00
Catherine Trieu, New York City

"Taking on the phrase: "It's 5 o'clock somewhere", 17:00 - 18:00 is an hour of escape from the daily grind during which we reconnect to our bodies and the natural world."

18:00 - 19:00
popstack (Tim Wood), San Francisco

"This mix is the soundtrack I've imagined for the golden hour between 6-7pm (18:00-19:00), when the light is vivid and saturated and the shadows are stretched. This hour is one long, cathartic exhale after basking in the sunshine... and by the end of it, the sky has become dark and the air brisk."

20:00 - 21:00
Braden Lake, Berkeley

"That beautiful hour when the turn-up starts to emerge. here to help you shake off the day, take a deep breath, and get ready to get lit."

21:00 - 22:00
YQnancy & Sai Hossain, San Francisco

"doorbell, kiss
on your cheek

heart, flutter
with soft fabric

apéritif, toast the fluffy feelings that
blossom on the mixed playlists

plow your course, the laughters you share
in the twenty-first hour."

22:00 - 23:00
Abigail Jean, San Francisco

"for the night jewels...
whose skin breathes and beats stars"
